Driving Forces in Carbon Dioxide Emissions of the Hungarian Transport Sector

چکیده

This article examines the evolution of long-lasting trends and factors affecting transport sector, which is responsible for a significant part Hungarian carbon dioxide emissions. Empirical evidence suggests that primary driving forces behind emissions from cars are stock development intensity. In freight transport, driver decarbonization rate rail in total freights. By 2030, motorization size will probably increase, so no emission reductions expected this area. contrast, increasing proportion traffic can be substantial reserve. passenger could increase by 1.5 million tonnes decrease 1 tonnes, would mean further sector's aggregate pollution.

Decomposition and Analysis of Driving Forces of GHG Emissions and Emission Reduction Potentials in Iran

Climate change cannot control unless by reduction of GHG emissions to secure level, therefore it is important to identify driving forces and possible scenarios based on targets. In this research, the Logarithmic Mean Divisia Index decomposition approach in combination with Extended Kaya Identity (EKI) are applied to investigate five factors could affect emissions during 1971-2012 in Iran.
